Controversial Nigerian singer and the DMW label owner, Davido, has taken to social media to proclaim himself a god of the Nigerian music industry despite the likes of 2face Idibia who’s esteemed as the god of Nigerian music.
Davido didn’t take thought to the ongoing debate on who the true industry legend is before he went ahead to blurt out his proclamation. These artistes, 9ice, 2Baba and D’Banj are under debate on who is due the honor of the “legend” title. As usual, Davido jumped in at the middle of the debate and diverted all the attention to himself. Silly boy!!!
Taking to his Snapchat, the FALL crooner put paid to all the debate by conferring himself with the boisterous title. He wrote; “3/3!!! Fuck it!!! I’m a legend!!!” His proclamation has given rise to the question of whether he is deserving of the title. As it stands, besides the mentioned singers, people are already crowning his arch rival, Wizkid with the title.
But Davido, being a violent personality, thinks it wise to take the title by force by proclaiming himself a legend!!! However, the true judgment lies with you. If you were to contribute your hustling dime on this, would you endorse Davido for the title???
