Some guys have a really hard time approaching the girl they like so I am going to give a little pep talk to help anyone in such a dilemma.
First of all, this shyness might stem from a level of inferiority complex so you need to know that you are good enough for anyone.
That being said, I wrote here on conversation starters some time back so will pick highlights from that to answer this question. You should not try to enter her own comfort zone, rather you should bring her into your element. Don’t try hard to over-impress. Talk about what you are knowledgeable in.
You could talk about how something reminds you of something else then launch into a captivating story.
You could also compliment her genuinely to break the ice. Another beautiful icebreaker is asking her what super power she would like to have or movie/book character she would love to be. Anyone would love answering this question.
Lastly, if talking to her alone would be difficult then approach her with a wingman so he can act as a buffer. Make sure your wingman does not dominate though and leave a better impression. Also, from this group conversation, get a feel of what she likes to talk about. Approach her next time and use any of the conversation starters above and based on what you gathered from the last conversation.
From there on, get to know her before you reveal how you feel. Take it a day at a time.
